S1E26, NIGHT You are a Marionette
[INTRODUCTION]
Taes: Hello, my name is Taes and I am so happy to be here with you at the very end of our day to say goodnight.
It is just such a good time to think back on what happened today on how we felt throughout the day and just wind down together.
Are you ready?
Me too.
I love knowing all day long that I get to see you and hear about how your day was and how you're feeling.
So, first of all, I just wanna say, thank you so much for being here with me.
[YOU ARE A MARIONETTE]
Taes: Do all your bedtime things and then come on back.
And once you're ready, we're going to start tonight up on your feet beside you. Good.
And once you're standing up on your feet, can you imagine that you're standing up nice and tall. That the top of your head is going straight up to the ceiling? Good.
And I want you to pretend that you are one of those marionette puppets. So, a marionette puppet is when someone else is moving the puppet.
So right now, imagine that your right arm is being lifted up. Whoop.
Now imagine that your left arm is being lifted up. Whoop. Good.
Now imagine both hands are waving. Can you wave your hands? Okay. Can you say, “Good night, day”? Good.
Now, can you imagine that one hand is going on top of your head? Whoop.
And the other hand is going on top of your head, too. Whoop.
And now can you wiggle your whole body? And can you say, “Good night, body”? Good.
Now imagine that you are all of a sudden jumping into bed. Okay. Let's see what I did there?
Okay. So now that you're jumping in bed or you're Nope. You're not jumping in bed. Now that you're lying in bed, can you close your eyes?
Imagine that your eyes are just closing shut, and as you lie there in your bed, can you put your hands in your. And take a great big, deep breath in and let it out. And just notice how your body is feeling right now.
Are there any little bits of awake left in your body?
And if there are, I want you to take a big deep breath in and let it out. And just imagine all of that awakeness, leaving your body, just flowing out of your body and into your bed and onto the floor.
Let's take one more great, big, deep breath in ready and let it out.
And in the morning, your marionette will be here to wake you up so you can jump out of bed. But for now, keep those eyes closed. Take one more big, deep breath in, let it out. I am wishing you the best sleep and the happiest dreams.
[CLOSING]
Taes: Thank you to you for being here with me.
I can't wait to see you tomorrow morning.
Have an amazing sleep with lots of happy dreams.
Remember, there is nobody in the whole world with a heart just like yours.
I love you. And I love your big heart so much.
