S2E08, NIGHT One I Love You

[INTRODUCTION]

Taes: Hello, my name is Taes and I am so happy to be here with you at the very end of our day to say goodnight.

It is just such a good time to think back on what happened today on how we felt throughout the day and just wind down together.

Are you ready?

Me too.

I love knowing all day long that I get to see you and hear about how your day was and how you're feeling.

So, first of all, I just wanna say, thank you so much for being here with me.

[ONE I LOVE YOU]

Taes: It is so good to see you tonight.

Can you make sure you've done all of your bedtime things? Brush your teeth. Said goodnight to everybody that you love. Put on your jammies and then grab a favorite stuffy and a blanket and come on back and you can just crawl right into bed.

This morning, we talked about a really fun trick that we can use when we have big grumpy feelings. So I just wanna check in, and even if you weren't here this morning, you can listen to that another time, but we can still check in about this. Did you feel any grumpy feelings today? And did you try to do the one I love you jumping game?

Awesome. And if you didn't do it, you can always try it next time.

Now before bed, we don't wanna be doing our “One. I love you” jumping game, do we? So we're gonna do a little variation of this and this will help you before bed. If you're having any big feelings that you just wanna let go of before you fall asleep.

So We are going to use our fingers to jump. So can you put one finger up in the air? And can you say, “One. I love you.” And jump it up and down.

Good. Now pick another finger. “Two. I love you.” Jump it up and down.

Three. I love you. Jump it up and down.

Four. I love you. Jump it up and down.

Now you should have the whole hand jumping up and down.

Five. I love you jumping up and down.

Now. Get your other hand involved. Put your thumb up. Six. I love you. Jumping up and down.

Seven. I love you.

Eight. I love you.

Nine. I love you.

Ten. I love you.

Can you wiggle all your fingers, pretending that they are jumping all together?

Let's try it again. Ready?

One. I love you.

Two. I love you.

Three. I love you.

Four. I love you.

Five. I love you.

Six. I love you.

Seven. I love you.

Eight. I love you.

Nine. I love you.

Ten. I love you.

Take all of those ten jumping fingers, put them on your heart, and send that love right into your heart to you. And can you say, “I love me”?

Take a big deep breath in, let it out. Can you say, “Goodnight, heart”?

And I wanna say goodnight to you.

[CLOSING]

Taes: Thank you to you for being here with me.

I can't wait to see you tomorrow morning.

Have an amazing sleep with lots of happy dreams.

Remember, there is nobody in the whole world with a heart just like yours.

I love you. And I love your big heart so much.
