S2E50, NIGHT My Big Heart Day

[INTRODUCTION]

Taes: Hello, my name is Taes and I am so happy to be here with you at the very end of our day to say goodnight.

It is just such a good time to think back on what happened today on how we felt throughout the day and just wind down together.

Are you ready?

Me too.

I love knowing all day long that I get to see you and hear about how your day was and how you're feeling.

So, first of all, I just wanna say, thank you so much for being here with me.

[MY BIG HEART DAY]

Taes: So, once you have put on your pajamas, said goodnight to everyone in your house, brushed your teeth, and gotten your favorite stuffy, or maybe a blanket, I want you to come on back and find a place to get nice and cozy.

Tonight, we're gonna check in on your day. I would love to hear how it was. And then we'll prepare yourself for happy dreams and a really good sleep.

Let's start by putting your hands on your heart. Take a great big, deep breath in and let it out. And as you feel your heartbeat, can you count to five? Ready? 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.

Take another big, deep breath in and let it out. Good.

If you joined us this morning, we did something where we chose to have a big heart day. And now, I would like to know what things you did today that were in a really big heart way. What did you do today to be extra nice to someone? Or how did you stop when you had a great big feeling and listen to your own heart before you reacted?

So just take a look at your day and notice all of the things that you did today with your big heart.

And if you are listening to this with someone else, you can share with them what you did today in a really big heart way.

How does it make you feel when you do things in a really big heart way?

You know, I am just so proud of you for all of the things that you did today with your big heart, for the times that you were really kind to someone, and for the times that you were also really kind to yourself.

Can you take your hands now and just rub them together? And once they get nice and warm, can you take those hands and place them on your big heart? Good.

Take a big deep breath in, and let it out. And imagine the warmth of your hands going all the way through your whole body. And just feel the warmth of your heart, and how you spread that warmth and love into the world today.

And as the warmth of your hands spreads throughout your body, just imagine how your heart was out there in the world today, sending warmth and love over people that you met.

And now as you close your eyes to go to sleep, I want you to remember that I love you.

[CLOSING]

Taes: Thank you to you for being here with me.

I can't wait to see you tomorrow morning.

Have an amazing sleep with lots of happy dreams.

Remember, there is nobody in the whole world with a heart just like yours.

I love you. And I love your big heart so much.
