S1E54, NIGHT Moving Meditation

[INTRODUCTION]

Taes: Hello, my name is Taes and I am so happy to be here with you at the very end of our day to say goodnight.

It is just such a good time to think back on what happened today on how we felt throughout the day and just wind down together.

Are you ready?

Me too.

I love knowing all day long that I get to see you and hear about how your day was and how you're feeling.

So, first of all, I just wanna say, thank you so much for being here with me.

[MOVING MEDITATION]

Taes: Once you have brushed your teeth, put on your jammies, said goodnight to everyone you love, come on back and bring your favorite stuffy and maybe a blanket. But we're gonna start standing up tonight.

We're gonna do a moving meditation today that will help get your body ready for sleep. So can you stand with your feet, shoulder width apart. And spread your toes out as you stand there, s you have a nice firm base.

And can you take a big deep breath in and as you do? I want you to circle your arms up over your head until your hands touch. Ready? Here we go.

Breathe in and bring your hands together above your head. Good.

Now, breathe out. And I want you to go all the way to the ground with your hands, so you're folded over your legs and your hands are touching the ground. Good.

Now you're gonna slowly roll up into a standing position. So, vertebrae by vertebrae, rolling up until you're standing in your first position that you started. Good.

Now we're gonna add some things into it. So take a big deep breath in. Put your hands up above your head, touching together. And can you say, “I am brave”? Good.

Now let your air out and go all the way down until your hands are touching the ground. And can you say, “I am strong”? Good.

Now, roll up slowly, slowly, slowly until you are standing in your first position.

Let's do it one more time. Ready?

Big, deep breath in hands over your head. Touch your hands together. “I am brave”. Good.

Let your hands out all the way down to the ground. Breath out. Touch the ground. Feel your strong tree roots. Can you say, “I am strong”?

And now roll up vertebrae by vertebrae until you are standing straight. And put your hands on your heart and say, “I am love”.

You are love, and I love you so much.

[CLOSING]

Taes: Thank you to you for being here with me.

I can't wait to see you tomorrow morning.

Have an amazing sleep with lots of happy dreams.

Remember, there is nobody in the whole world with a heart just like yours.

I love you. And I love your big heart so much.
