S1E18, NIGHT Make a Sleepy Bubble (R)
[INTRODUCTION]
Taes: Hello, my name is Taes and I am so happy to be here with you at the very end of our day to say goodnight.
It is just such a good time to think back on what happened today on how we felt throughout the day and just wind down together.
Are you ready?
Me too.
I love knowing all day long that I get to see you and hear about how your day was and how you're feeling.
So, first of all, I just wanna say, thank you so much for being here with me.
[SLEEPY BUBBLE]
Taes: So once you have done all of your bedtime business, brushed your teeth, gotten your favorite stuffy and get a favorite blanket, make sure you say goodnight to everybody, tell them you love them and come on by.
And I want you to stand up for the beginning of this. We are going to make a sleepy bubble.
Okay. So what you're going to do is I want you to take your hands and put them straight out on either side of you with your palms flat. There you go. You got it.
Now, can you spin around in a circle, making a big circle around you with your hands? Yes, you've got it. And now can you yawn? And can you say, “This is my sleepy bubble”?
Yeah. Good. Remember what we're doing? We're just teaching our body that it is time for sleep.
Okay. So now put your hands straight up over top of your head with your palms flat. And you're going to bring your palms right down to your side and then all the way down and around till they're right beside you. And then you're going to bring your palms up to the top. Good. So we're making you bubble around you.
Can you say, “Yawn”. And say, “This is my sleepy bubble.”
Good. Okay. Now I want you to turn a little bit, so you're facing a different wall in your bedroom. Keep your hands above your head and bring your hands down all the way to your sides and bring them back up over your head and yawn and say, this is my sleepy bubble.
Good. Okay, now turn one more time, cause we want to make sure that we fill in the bubble. So face another one of your walls. Keep your hands up and bring your hands all the way down to your sides and then bring them back up over your head and yawn. “This is my sleepy bubble.”
Good. Okay. One more time. I want you to go one more flip so you're facing one other wall of your room.
Hands over your head. Palms flat. And you're going to bring your arms all the way down to your side and bring them back up and yawn and say, “This is my sleepy bubble”.
Good. Okay. So one more time. Let's bring your hands straight out in front of you this time with your palms flat. And you're just going to turn one more full circle around your room.
There you go. Give me a big yawn. “This is my sleepy bubble”.
Good. Now, do you notice that now that you're inside of your sleepy bubble, you're starting to feel a little bit sleepy.
Yeah. That is because we have taught our body that it is time for sleep with all of our yawns, and we're saying the word sleepy, and with putting ourselves inside of our sleepy bubble, I just know that you are going to have the best sleep in there.
Now be careful not to pop your bubble and crawl into bed. Have the best sleep with lots of happy dreams.
[CLOSING]
Taes: Thank you to you for being here with me.
I can't wait to see you tomorrow morning.
Have an amazing sleep with lots of happy dreams.
Remember, there is nobody in the whole world with a heart just like yours.
I love you. And I love your big heart so much.
