S2E38, NIGHT I Love All of My Feelings

[INTRODUCTION]

Taes: Hello, my name is Taes and I am so happy to be here with you at the very end of our day to say goodnight.

It is just such a good time to think back on what happened today on how we felt throughout the day and just wind down together.

Are you ready?

Me too.

I love knowing all day long that I get to see you and hear about how your day was and how you're feeling.

So, first of all, I just wanna say, thank you so much for being here with me.

[I LOVE ALL OF MY FEELINGS]

Taes: So, make sure that you have done all of your bedtime things. Put on your pajamas, brushed your teeth, said goodnight to everybody that you love. And then come on back into your room and I want you to grab your favorite stuffy and a blanket and crawl into bed.

And if you joined us this morning, you will remember that we did an activity where we learned to love all of our feelings. We learned about loving our big sunny feelings, and then also sending love to our big cloudy feelings.

So can you look at your day today? And I want you to think about all of the feelings that you felt from the time that you woke up until right now. I know that is a lot of feelings, but can you start by telling me one feeling that you felt today?

Okay. That was a good one.

Can you tell me another feeling that you felt today? Good. One.

What about another one? Okay.

And are there any other feelings that you felt today? Okay, good.

And make sure, take a good look around your day and see if you have missed any feelings at all.

Now can you imagine that you're gathering up all of those feelings, so reach your arms out. And can you gather them up with your arms and hold your hands together and imagine that all of your little feelings and your big feelings, all your sunny feelings and your cloudy feelings are standing on your hands and on your arms.

And can you look at all of those feelings that you felt today? And can you say, “I love you”?

Good. Now imagine that you're taking all of those feelings and you're gonna just put them into your heart for a heart hug. So take your hands and just rub them against your heart and imagine all of those feelings that you felt going into your heart, changing into your favorite color.

What's your favorite color? Oh, that's a good one.

So imagine that color it's filling up your. Imagine that color is going all the way up to the top of your head, wiggle your head.

And all of those feelings are transforming into the feeling of love, and they're going all the way down into your toes. Can you wiggle your toes? And those feelings are going all the way into each of your fingers. Can you wiggle your fingers? That beautiful color, that feeling of love?

Can you take a great big, deep breath in and let it out? Just imagine that that feeling of love, that feeling that was created from all of those other feelings that you've had today, is moving through your body.

And can you say, “I love all my feelings”? Good.

[CLOSING]

Taes: Thank you to you for being here with me.

I can't wait to see you tomorrow morning.

Have an amazing sleep with lots of happy dreams.

Remember, there is nobody in the whole world with a heart just like yours.

I love you. And I love your big heart so much.
