S1E06, NIGHT I Am Safe (R)

[INTRODUCTION]

Taes: Hello, my name is Taes and I am so happy to be here with you at the very end of our day to say goodnight.

It is just such a good time to think back on what happened today on how we felt throughout the day and just wind down together.

Are you ready?

Me too.

I love knowing all day long that I get to see you and hear about how your day was and how you're feeling.

So, first of all, I just wanna say, thank you so much for being here with me.

[I AM SAFE]

Taes: Can you go and make sure that you have said good night to everybody in your house and given them a great big hug and told them how much you love them.

And also I want to make sure you've got your PJ's on and you've brushed your teeth. And if you haven't done those three things, go into it right now and press pause.

But if you have done all of those things, come on back, grab something cozy, get yourself a nice, comfortable space and get ready to say “good night”.

Now, can you close your eyes? And I want you to just listen to your heartbeat. And as you listen, count to five, ready. One, two. three, four, five.

Now, can you imagine all of the stars above you in the sky. Imagine all those stars and imagine that those stars are twinkling just for you.

And can you reach up and pull a star out of the sky?

And I want you to imagine that that star has a very special message just for you.

And if you were to look at that star. And you were to find a special message. What would it be?

And can you take that message and put it inside of your heart and just rub your hands on your heart for me?

And now I want you to reach up into the sky above you, and imagine you're pulling another star out of the sky.

And you're going to open it up. And this time that star has a message. And it is this, it says “You are brave.”

Can you say the words “I am brave”?

Now take that brave feeling and put it inside of your heart. Put your hands on your heart and give your heart a little rub.

Good, now look up at the sky.

Oh, there's another star with a special message just for you. You're going to pull it out of the sky. Open it up. And this one says, “You are safe”.

Can you say the words, “I am safe”?

And take that feeling and you're going to put it inside of your heart and just give your heart a little rub. There you go.

And look up and there's one more message in the sky for you. You're going to pull that star out of the sky. The one that's shining the brightest just for you. And you're going to open it up and this star says, “You are loved”.

Can you say the words, “I am loved”?

And can you take that feeling of being loved and can you put it inside of your heart and give your heart a little rub with your hands?

Good.

You are safe. You are loved. And you are never alone.

[CLOSING]

Taes: Thank you to you for being here with me.

I can't wait to see you tomorrow morning.

Have an amazing sleep with lots of happy dreams.

Remember, there is nobody in the whole world with a heart just like yours.

I love you. And I love your big heart so much.
