S2E04, NIGHT Home

[INTRODUCTION]

Taes: Hello, my name is Taes and I am so happy to be here with you at the very end of our day to say goodnight.

It is just such a good time to think back on what happened today on how we felt throughout the day and just wind down together.

Are you ready?

Me too.

I love knowing all day long that I get to see you and hear about how your day was and how you're feeling.

So, first of all, I just wanna say, thank you so much for being here with me.

[HOME]

Taes: I'm so happy to see you for our goodnight time together. Once you have brushed your teeth, put on your jammies, said goodnight to everybody in your house. Can you come on back, grab your favorite stuffy and grab a nice cozy blanket to wrap around yourself and jump into bed?

And once you are in bed, can you just take a minute to look at this little bed in this room, in this home that you live in? And can you say, “Thank you”?

Can you make the shape of a house over top of your head? And now can you imagine the people who live with you in this home and maybe there's some animals, too. Whatever your family looks like. We all have families that look very different from each other.

And imagine that your whole family is right there in front of you. And maybe, if you're listening to this with them, you can do it with them, too.

But imagine that you're giving your whole family a great big hug. Wrap that house around them and wrap your arms around your body.

We did this this morning, too. So we could carry the feeling of home inside of our hearts all day. And now I want you to carry this feeling of home into your sleep, so that when you fall asleep, you can feel safe and loved and a part of a home.

And not only the home that you live in, but you are a part of a bigger home. You are a part of a bigger family.

A family of people who live on this earth. A family of great big hearts. And there are so many people that love you and you might not even know them.

So can you stretch your arms out? And now wrap them around yourself. And can you say, “When I look at you, I'm home.”

And find that feeling of home inside of you. You can be your own home. And put that feeling of home inside of your heart. Can you put your hands in your heart? Give your heart a little rub.

And can you say, “Goodnight, heart”? And I wanna say goodnight to you.

[CLOSING]

Taes: Thank you to you for being here with me.

I can't wait to see you tomorrow morning.

Have an amazing sleep with lots of happy dreams.

Remember, there is nobody in the whole world with a heart just like yours.

I love you. And I love your big heart so much.
