S1E24, NIGHT Count the Shapes and Colors (R)

[INTRODUCTION]

Taes: Hello, my name is Taes and I am so happy to be here with you at the very end of our day to say goodnight.

It is just such a good time to think back on what happened today on how we felt throughout the day and just wind down together.

Are you ready?

Me too.

I love knowing all day long that I get to see you and hear about how your day was and how you're feeling.

So, first of all, I just wanna say, thank you so much for being here with me.

[COUNT AND COLOR]

Taes: I want you to make sure that you've done all those bedtime things. Brush your teeth. Put your jammies on. And maybe you've said good night to everybody in your house, told them that you love them and get yourself something really cozy, like your favorite blanket or a stuffy, and find yourself somewhere to sit or lie down. And if you haven't done all this press pause and come on back when you're off.

Okay, now that you're here, we are going to do our good night game. If you want to play a good night game with me tonight, can you touch the top of your head?

Okay. Our good night game goes like this. I am going to say a color and I want you to look around your room and notice how many things that are that color you can find.

Okay, ready? The first color is red. So how many red things can you find in your room?

Maybe you have lots of red things, or maybe you just have a few red things.

Okay. What was your number?

Okay, good. All right. Now I'm going to give you a shape, how many things that are in the shape of a square. Can you find in your room?

And once you have that number… What is your number?

Okay, good number.

Okay. I'm going to pick another color this time. How many things can you find that are the color blue in your room?

There might be a lot of them.

Okay. What was your number? Good.

Okay. Now can you look and see if you can find any hearts in your room? Do you have anything that is in the shape of a heart. Maybe a drawing of a heart. Maybe there's a heart on a picture. Is there anything shaped like a heart in your room? And if there are just do a little count of your hearts.

And if not, can you put your hands on your heart? And if you do have hearts, what was the number? Good.

Now, can you put your hands on your heart. Take a big deep breath in. Let it out. And can you say, “Thank you heart.”

Thank you for this day. Thank you for this good night game. You can play it by yourself. Also. If you're having a hard time sleeping. Try playing the good night game by yourself.

[CLOSING]

Taes: Thank you to you for being here with me.

I can't wait to see you tomorrow morning.

Have an amazing sleep with lots of happy dreams.

Remember, there is nobody in the whole world with a heart just like yours.

I love you. And I love your big heart so much.
