GMGN
S1E28, NIGHT Big and Small (R)
[INTRODUCTION]
Taes: Hello, my name is Taes and I am so happy to be here with you at the very end of our day to say goodnight.
It is just such a good time to think back on what happened today on how we felt throughout the day and just wind down together.
Are you ready?
Me too.
I love knowing all day long that I get to see you and hear about how your day was and how you're feeling.
So, first of all, I just wanna say, thank you so much for being here with me.
[BIG TO SMALL]
Taes: Can you get yourself something cozy, like a blanket? Like a stuffy? Yeah.
Get those and get yourself nice and cozy and wrap yourself up in the blanket. And get… oh my goodness. I'm yawning. Oh, can you give me a big yawn oh, I don't even know where that came from. I guess I am ready for bed over here. How do you feel? Are you ready for bed?
Okay, well, we're going to do some things to get us ready for bed, but first, can you make your body as big as you can? Stretch it out. Stretch your arms, stretch your legs. Make your body really, really big.
And now make your body really small. Can you make it even smaller? Like get in a little tiny ball.
Good. Now make your body really big again. As big as you can. Can you stretch your fingers out? Stretch your arms out, stretch your legs out. You might even want to get up on your feet for this.
Good. Now can you make your body really small, really tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny. Can you make it even tinier? Like scrunch your face up?
And good now make your body really big as big as you can, as big as you can.
And really small, one more time as big as you can. Big, big, big can you make it even bigger?
And small. No get nice and small. And can you curl up into a tiny little ball? Good.
A lot of the times when we go to bed, it's all about going from big daytime, into small sleepy, nighttime. So playing the Big and Small game can help us remember to move our bigness into smallness so that we can sleep, have happy dreams, and feel really good tomorrow because that's why we need to sleep, right, because our body needs the sleep so that we will feel good tomorrow.
So as you stay there all nice and small and curled up and ready for sleep, can you take a big deep breath in? Big breath. Let it out.
And as you let it out, imagine your body just getting more and more and more relaxed and sleepy.
One more time, big breath in, let it out and just feel yourself getting more relaxed and more sleepy.
[CLOSING]
Taes: Thank you to you for being here with me.
I can't wait to see you tomorrow morning.
Have an amazing sleep with lots of happy dreams.
Remember, there is nobody in the whole world with a heart just like yours.
I love you. And I love your big heart so much.
