S1E41, MORNING Triangle (R)

[INTRODUCTION]

Taes: Good morning. My name is Taes and I want to welcome you to today.

Can you wave your hand and say, “Good morning, day.”

Can you put your hands on your heart and say, “Good morning, heart.”

And I want to say good morning to you.

I just love getting to start today with you as we check in, as we wake up our bodies, and as we think about what is in store for us today.

Are you ready to start off our morning? Great!

So let's get started with our activity.

[TRIANGLE]

Taes: I want to show you this morning, a good morning triangle.

So can you stand with your feet about one foot apart from each other? And can you put your arms straight out beside you? Good.

Now, can you lean over to one side, touching your hand to one ankle, if you can reach, making the shape of a triangle.

Now, can you go to the other side, stretch over the other side and make the shape of a triangle? Good.

Now you're going to go to the other side, but you're going to say swoosh as you go over. Are you ready? Here we go. And swoosh. One side and you're going to go to the other one. Ready? Swoosh

Other side, get ready. One more time. Other side. Swoosh.

And back to this side. Swoosh.

The “Good Morning. Triangle” is a really, really good way to wake up your body.

Can you put your hands in your heart? Take a great big, deep breath in and let it out and just notice how your heart is feeling today.

And I want you to take however it is your heart is feeling. And I want you to hold that feeling inside of your hands and imagine that you are giving it a great big hug.

Now, can you stretch your arms out besides. And then wrap those arms around yourself and give yourself a really big hug.

Giving yourself a big hug in the morning is a really good way to start the day by saying, “I love me.” Can you say that with me right now? “I love me.” Good.

Thank you so much for waking your body up with me with our “Good Morning, Triangle”. forgiving your feelings, a hug, and for telling yourself how much you love you. All three of these things are great things to do first thing in the morning.

And you know what? I cannot wait to see you later on tonight for our good night time. Have the best day.

[CLOSING]

Taes: I'm so excited for you and for your day.

And I want to say thank you so much for starting today with me and for setting yourself up for a big heart kind of day.

I can't wait to see you tonight and hear about all of the things that you did.

Remember: there is nobody in the whole world with a heart, just like yours.

I love you. And I love your big heart so much.
