S1E19, MORNING The Morning Wiggle
[INTRODUCTION]
Taes: Good morning. My name is Taes and I want to welcome you to today.
Can you wave your hand and say, “Good morning, day.”
Can you put your hands on your heart and say, “Good morning, heart.”
And I want to say good morning to you.
I just love getting to start today with you as we check in, as we wake up our bodies, and as we think about what is in store for us today.
Are you ready to start off our morning? Great!
So let's get started with our activity.
[THE MORNING WIGGLE]
Taes: I would love to know how are you feeling today? If you could just give me one word for how your heart feels. Think about it right now. Put your hands on your heart. I'm going to count to three and then just yell the word as loud as you can. Okay?
Are you ready? Here we go. How are you feeling? 1, 2, 3.
Well, I'm really happy to hear about how you're feeling today, but I want to know something else. This is a very important question. What did you have for breakfast?
Are you ready on the count of 3? 1, 2, 3.
Oh, that's a really good one. Thank you so much for sharing.
Now, at the beginning of today, can you jump up on your feet and can you wiggle your toes?
Good. Now, can you wiggle your ankles?
Good. Roll your ankles around now.
Can you wiggle your knees?
Good. Can you wiggle your hips?
Can you wiggle your arms?
Can you wiggle your hands and your fingers?
Can you wiggle the top of your head? Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle.
Good. Okay, now we're going to go down the other way. Are you ready? Start by wiggling the top of your head. Can you wiggle your nose?
Can you begin to go shoulders?
Wiggle your arms. Wiggle your fingers. Wiggle your hips. Wiggle your knees. Wiggle your ankles. Wiggle your toes. And freeze.
Let's do it one more time from the bottom. All the way to the top. Wiggle your toes. Wiggle your ankles. Wiggle your knees. Wiggle your hips. Wiggle your arms. Wiggle your fingers. Wiggle your head. Wiggle your nose. Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, everything. Wiggle wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, and freeze.
This is how I like to wake up in the morning. It's called “The Morning Wiggle”.
Ready? Let's do it one more time. Top of your head, wiggle the top of your head. Wiggle. Wiggle this time, wiggle your ears. We'll throw your ears in there. Wiggle your shoulders. Wiggle your arms. Wiggle your hips. Wiggle your knees. Wiggle your ankles. Wiggle your toes. And freeze.
Oh! Well, I want to thank you for joining me in this morning wiggle. And I want to wish you the best of all days.
Okay. Can you make the shape of a heart in front of you? Hold it up. Hold it up. Good. I can see it. The shape of a heart with your hands. Yes. Wiggle your fingers and goodbye. I love you so much.
[CLOSING]
Taes: I'm so excited for you and for your day.
And I want to say thank you so much for starting today with me and for setting yourself up for a big heart kind of day.
I can't wait to see you tonight and hear about all of the things that you did.
Remember: there is nobody in the whole world with a heart, just like yours.
I love you. And I love your big heart so much.
