S1E29, MORNING Good Morning Senses

[INTRODUCTION]

Taes: Good morning. My name is Taes and I want to welcome you to today.

Can you wave your hand and say, “Good morning, day.”

Can you put your hands on your heart and say, “Good morning, heart.”

And I want to say good morning to you.

I just love getting to start today with you as we check in, as we wake up our bodies, and as we think about what is in store for us today.

Are you ready to start off our morning? Great!

So let's get started with our activity.

[GOOD MORNING SENSES]

Taes: I'm so happy to see you this morning. How did you sleep? Okay.

And I would love to know if this morning you had anything yummy for breakfast. You did? What did you have? Um, that's a really good one.

So this morning we are going to say good morning to all of our senses. So can you close your eyes and just touch your eyes? Can you touch your ears? Can you touch your nose? Can you touch your mouth? And can you rub your hands together? Good.

Let's do all of that all over again.

Touch your eyes. Touch your ears. Touch your nose. Touch your mouth. And rub your hands together.

Now, can you say, “Good morning, eyes” and look around you and just notice what things can you see with your eyes? What colors can you see? What about shape?

Now, touch your ears. And can you say, “Good morning, ears” and notice what you can hear? Are there any noises right now?

Go ahead and now, touch your nose and say, “Good morning, nose” and notice what you can see. Is there anything around you that you can smell right now? Maybe something for breakfast.

Can you touch your mouth and say, “Good morning, mouth”. And just notice if you can taste anything in there.

Now, can you rub your hands together so that you can make a little bit of heat with him? And can you say, “Good morning, hands”? And just notice right now, how do your hands feel when you touch them together?

Now, can you take your hands and touch the top of your head? Give your head a little massage, take your hands and touch your ears. Give your ears a little massage. Give your nose a little massage. Give your shoulders a little massage.

Now can you get into your heart? Put your hands over your heart and just give your heart a little massage. And can you say, “Good morning, heart”?

And I want to say good morning to you. I am wishing you the best of all best days.

[CLOSING]

Taes: I'm so excited for you and for your day.

And I want to say thank you so much for starting today with me and for setting yourself up for a big heart kind of day.

I can't wait to see you tonight and hear about all of the things that you did.

Remember: there is nobody in the whole world with a heart, just like yours.

I love you. And I love your big heart so much.
