S2E45, MORNING Good Morning Nose

[INTRODUCTION]

Taes: Good morning. My name is Taes and I want to welcome you to today.

Can you wave your hand and say, “Good morning, day.”

Can you put your hands on your heart and say, “Good morning, heart.”

And I want to say good morning to you.

I just love getting to start today with you as we check in, as we wake up our bodies, and as we think about what is in store for us today.

Are you ready to start off our morning? Great!

[GOOD MORNING, NOSE]

Taes: Thank you for being here.

This morning, we are going to say good morning to part of our body that we don't usually say good morning to. But it is gonna be a little bit silly and saying good morning like this will help wake us up, help set us up for a day filled with things that are a little bit silly, which is what we want, and then you will be ready to head out with your big heart into your day.

Can you jump up on your feet for me? And when you are up on your feet, can you stretch your arms all the way up to the ceiling? Wherever you are stretch as high up as you can go.

And as you let your arms go down to your sides, can you just go, “Oh yeah”. Good.

Okay. Let's try that again. Ready? Stretch your arms up to the sky stretch, stretch, stretch up. And you're gonna let your arms go down and you're gonna go, “Oh yeah.”

Good. We just like to move our bodies a little bit in the morning. Now can you take your hands? Can you touch the top of your head? Can you touch your ears? Can you touch your shoulders? Can you touch your knees? Can you touch your toes? Can you touch your nose? And can you just keep your fingers on your nose for a minute?

And can you say, “Good morning, nose”? Good.

Now, can you sniff like this? Good.  okay. Now stretch your arms out beside you, and then bring your arms in, give yourself a hug just because it's morning. And because you deserve a hug.

Now, put your hands on your nose and say, “Good morning, nose”.

Now, sniff.

You know, our nose is a very important part of our body. We get to smell lots of things with our nose.

Okay. Stretch your arms out. As far as you can go. Give yourself a great big hug, because you need all of the hugs because you are so loved.

You know, what else needs a hug? Your nose! Put your fingers on your nose, touch your nose. And can you say, “Good morning, nose”? And can you sniff? Good.

And now can you put your hands on that big, beautiful heart of yours? And can you say, “Good morning, heart”?

And I wanna say good morning to you. You are so special. And you are so loved.

And I can't wait to see you tonight. We are gonna say goodnight to another part of our body that often we don't say goodnight to. So I can't wait to see you for that.

[CLOSING]

Taes: I'm so excited for you and for your day.

And I want to say thank you so much for starting today with me and for setting yourself up for a big heart kind of day.

I can't wait to see you tonight and hear about all of the things that you did.

Remember: there is nobody in the whole world with a heart, just like yours.

I love you. And I love your big heart so much.
