S1E15, MORNING Funny Face (R)

[INTRODUCTION]

Taes: Good morning. My name is Taes and I want to welcome you to today.

Can you wave your hand and say, “Good morning, day.”

Can you put your hands on your heart and say, “Good morning, heart.”

And I want to say good morning to you.

I just love getting to start today with you as we check in, as we wake up our bodies, and as we think about what is in store for us today.

Are you ready to start off our morning? Great!

So let's get started with our activity.

[FUNNY FACE]

Taes: So, I want to show you something really fun today. This is a great way to wake yourself up.

Can you just tell me right now? Are you still feeling a little bit sleepy? If you are, touch the top of your head.

Okay. And if you're feeling wide awake and ready for the day, can you touch your nose?

Okay, good to know. So either of those things, this will be a really fun way to start your day on the count of three, can you show me your most funny face? Are you ready? 1, 2, 3.

Oh, that is a very funny face.

Okay. Now I want to see it again. Are you ready? 1, 2, 3.

That is really, really good. Now on the count of three, can you stick your tongue out? Ready? 1, 2, 3.

Good. Now on the count of three, make your face really small. Ready? 1, 2, 3.

Oh, that's good. Now we're going to put those all together. Are you ready? Give me your best funny face. Now, stick your tongue out. Now, make your face really.

Let's do it again. Funny face. Stick your tongue out. Make your face really small.

Funny face. Stick your tongue out. Make your face really.

Good now, take your hands and just rub them on your face and make… Can you make this noise?

Oh yes. Good, good, good.

We are just waking you up and getting you ready for the day by moving our body by doing something a little bit silly and by telling our body that it is go-time.

Can I see that funny face again? There you go. Can you stick your tongue out? Can you make your face really small?

Good now, put your hands on your heart. Good. And can you say, “I'm going to have a great day”?

Good. I can't wait to see you later on tonight.

And can you give me one more funny face before you go? That was a really good one.

[CLOSING]

Taes: I'm so excited for you and for your day.

And I want to say thank you so much for starting today with me and for setting yourself up for a big heart kind of day.

I can't wait to see you tonight and hear about all of the things that you did.

Remember: there is nobody in the whole world with a heart, just like yours.

I love you. And I love your big heart so much.
