Taes: Good morning. My name is Taes and I want to welcome you to today.
Can you wave your hand and say, “Good morning, day.”
Can you put your hands on your heart and say, “Good morning, heart.”
And I want to say good morning to you.
I just love getting to start today with you as we check in, as we wake up our bodies, and as we think about what is in store for us today.
Are you ready to start off our morning? Great!
[COUNTDOWN SHAKE]
Taes: Today I am going to show you something really fun to move through some big feelings, and then you'll be ready to start your.
Can you jump up on your feet? Can you take one hand up in the air and can you shake it five times?
Ready? 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.
Now take the other hand, put it up in the air and shake it five times.
Ready? 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,
Now shake your foot five times: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.
Shake your other foot five times: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.
Good. Now we're going to do the countdown. Put the same first-hand up and you're going to shake it four times.

And can you shake your whole body? Shake, shake, shake, shake, shake, shake. Any bits of sleepy. Shake any big feelings of right out.

This is a really good thing that you can use throughout your day. If you're having a really big feeling of anger or of grouchy, this helps to just shake out those feelings. This is called the “Countdown Shake”.
